While the ranch began strictly as an equine enterprise, owners
Jill and John Nelson soon saw a need in this growing
community for services related to our other expertise -- more
than 35 years' experience in TV, newspapers and other media.
Jill Nelson is a lifelong newspaper
and magazine writer, specializing in
the subjects of sports, outdoors,
equine, automotive and travel -- as
well as being a local columnist. John
Nelson, meanwhile, has been a sports
and general assignment reporter for
the Associated Press as well as a vice
president and supervising producer
for Fox Sports. All this in addition to
years of riding, ranching and horse
breeding.
Thus was born the Double J Agency, a full-service public
relations firm, and it's subsidiary, Bar Double J Productions,
which produces promotional videos for all types of small
businesses and organizations.
The Double J Agency can handle virtually
all of your public relations needs, including
news releases, press conferences, website
construction and maintenance, and
advertising. Bar Double J Productions is
the video arm of the Double J Agency,
filming and producing smart, slick DVD
